Day 8 : Thursday 25th April 2013
City of Cordova, Spain
This charming city is where the "Mezquita : La Catedral de Cordoba" is situated. The Mezquita is right in the centre of the City. In the city and around the Mezquita; no vehicles are allowed except taxis and authorised vehicles. Everybody walks. The Mezquita is open daily and the entrance fee is EUR 8.00 per person (to enter the Cathedral/Mosque in the centre of the ground !!! However, since there are mass everyday, you can walk in free-of-charge as soon as it opens at 8:30 am until mass finish @ 9:45 am !!! We love this narrow coble stone streets (even cars may not be able to pass most of the narrow streets within the city). Parking is a huge problem. If you are coming here, you must arrange with the Hotel for your 'parking space' first; which may be expensive but you don't have a choice !!!
